FABRIC
My local quilt store is having a sale right now so I had to walk around a little bit and pet some fabrics and well. . . shop! The bottom green I NEED to finish the tile quilt I've been creating.
The fabric on the left is from the Shangri-La line and I love it.
The one on the right has FUN wobbly light aqua stripes - which work perfect as background fabric for this BOM.
HAPPY CAMPER
2010 Camp Sloanie Winter Stashbuster officially starts Friday. Some campers are a little eager to get started on the fun. This camper has a Winter Carnival in town and a husband whose away on Saturday leaving a camping quilter in charge of children and domestic duties!! What's a camper to do. . .
Start the party early! I love getting to use up my yellow fabrics. They are all of various STYLES of prints - batik, country, brights, floral, geometric. Using them as one colour they all play nice together. The large, easy piecing block that Pat Sloan designed for camp keeps my large print fabric looking like a print too!
