Another Applique Giveaway

{Edited to remove link to this giveaway post}
THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. CONGRATS TO JANET R.

While I was creating my pillow cover from one of the designs in Kay's new book,
I knew I wanted to have a giveaway of something I made.

But, I want to keep the pillow cover!

So, I went through the book and chose another block that I really like.
Heart in Hand.
A very traditional block.

I just recently finished making this needlekeeper.
It was the March challenge project from Pat Sloan's Happiness Key mystery.
{You can find the free pattern for this at Pat's website here}
And it made me think of the perfect way to use the Heart and Hand block!

A needlekeeper for you!
Now, I did make an 'oops' while constructing it -
I made it open on the right side instead of the left.
oops.
But it still works!

Please leave a comment on this post to be in the random draw to win this needlekeeper.
**The needles will NOT be included!**

This giveaway is open to anyone and everyone.

Please make sure I have a way to contact you -
leave an email address in your comment if you're unsure.

Comments will be received until Thursday, March 31 at 9 P.M. EST.

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. CONGRATS TO MARCIA W.

My desktop computer is still not home, but I am reading your comments! Normally I reply to each of you, but time and circumstances don't allow. I WILL email you if you are the winner and announce it here on the blog:)

Good Luck!
With Joy,

Sarah Vee

  1. That's a great looking needlekeeper, right side or not. One of my boys moved out of state to attend law school and asked for sewing stuff from my sewing room since he tends to bust buttons off ALL the time for some reason. I was going to make him one of these so winning this would be awesome. I could give it to him to keep things together.

  6. Kay's book would be useful as my first book on applique -- giving me (a rank beginner) great directions for applique -- that's why I want to win it! Thanks for the giveaway. p.s. your needlekeeper is cute too. alternate email mlwright29(at)hotmail(dot)com
