Full Harvest Moon Dreamboard

This is my dreamboard. I follow Jamie Ridler and she does one of these each month. Here's a link to Jamie's dreamboard this month. I do it occasionally, although I am more likely to do it at this time of year when I love all the inspiration of the autumn colours.

I won't interpret it too much, I try just to cut and paste and reflect on one until I make a new one:)
In this one I see:
  • an upright bass and the words "Give Voice to Your Heart" - this is the instrument I would learn how to play if I had time
  • all the new furniture! we are moving stuff around at my house and I can't but think that these chairs would be really comfy in my house!
  • loft window and the word "when" - I am curious about what this means and will be even more curious if these views show up again.
I always have lots of words when I do these things. Words prompt me as much as pretty photos I guess.

I tack my dream board up behind my sewing machine, beneath my lovely mini quilt from Cherri House. My favourite dreaming spot.

Do you make space for your dreams?

  1. It seems like your dreamboard is about feathering your nest. Lush color. Maybe you are wondering "when" you will have your nest just as you like it?

I make my dreamboards on just a half piece of poster board and so they are easier to display and store. I seem to be able to cram a lot of images onto 14 X 22 inches.

I wish you joy in "being tempted" by new chairs and more and making your home a sanctuary.

  2. What a yummy dreamboard! You know, when I saw the musicians, I imagined that meant there was going to be some wonderful entertaining in your future!

Interesting that in your observations - one was about time and another was about "when"? Connection?

How wonderful you have a favourite dreaming spot! May all of your dreams come true.
