Warm Congratulations to Sharon who won my scraps!

I like all kinds of how-to, techniques, and tutorials on quilting.
So, any that you do is much appreciated. :)
Thanks, Sharon! And thanks to so many who took the time to leave thoughtful comments, follow my blog, sign up for my newsletter and 'like' my video! Thank you and welcome!
This is what my color palette turned into
A bag with a zipper in it for my daughter.
She just turned 11. This is her second Egyptian themed bag, but the first with a zipper! I made it big enough to fit the novels she likes to read. There's a Harry Potter one stuffed into it in this photo.
She also liked my sample bag. I made it with some selvages for this side of it.
This side features some Pat Sloan fabric that I knew she liked. There's a zipper on this bag too, but it's not recessed. I also tried out a new handle technique that I spied on a Sweetwater tote - my daughter noticed and approved.
I think I found myself a new bag model - and a new passion for zippered bags!
With Joy,
Sarah Vee
Great job on the bags!
ReplyDeletewill have to check out the new handle technique!
