A Scrappy Project

These are my first 3 blocks in Pat Sloan's latest scrap project.
It's easy and uses up lots of stored scraps.
The background fabric has sat around for awhile waiting for its time to shine.

The blocks are 12.5 inches unfinished. We're to make at least 20 which I suppose will be a 4 x 5 layout. I think I will have a bit more background fabric than needed and might make a few more blocks.

We'll see. Pat hasn't revealed any more steps yet, like if there is going to be sashing added or borders.

I like these blocks because I can see progress in one sitting!

I'm going to try and stay caught up so they don't become another  UFO.

Time will tell if someone claims this for a bed or if it becomes another couch favourite along with my String quilt.
