Update on Halloween 1904

>> Monday, February 25, 2013

I'm supplying at the local First Nations school almost full time now. This means I have little time at home when my brain is functioning for some quality quilting time. I finally got the hst border on this block. It has the top border pieces added to it as well now.

I did take some time last month(?) to rearrange my space and get all the parts ready for quilting my Halloween 1904 panels. On the back sideboard you can see the panel backs all cut. To the left are the strips that will be added to the panels that are the outside edge - this will add a border to the back of the quilt. The front green card table holds my next panel ready for quilting.

Under the table is my first quilted panel - the bottom left of the quilt. Underneath that is the pile of batting cut to the different sizes I need for the different panels.

I still have more blocks to complete, but I am ready to work on this quilt from every angle. Now it's just to make the time to sit down and quilt!

With Joy,
Sarah Vee

Woohoo!! You must be happy, starting in on the next step with this. It's a really fun project.
