Happy Canada Day!
We're heading out to watch the annual duck race and visit some other events in the community. Fireworks won't be happening this year due to the complete fire ban. It's hot - and dry! Plans for some cool drinks in the shade later too ;)
Hoping my blocks for Fort McMurray quilts arrived on time and won't get stuck in transit somewhere with the imminent postal strike:(
Thinking about using my Maple Leaf block tutorial to finally make a Canada quilt - next year we celebrate 150 years as a country. Sounds like a good excuse to make a quilt!
