Still rowing through September

School's back in session. The hurricanes have started. I'm wearing shorts again up here in the North of Ontario! It's generally the busy season for most people and starts to get even busier as quilters realize it's almost time to start making gifts for the holidays - if you're doing that this year. Plus so many hops and sewalongs to enjoy.

Remember to enjoy and not get bogged down in taking on too many new projects. Sometimes it's just fun to look for inspiration's sake and maybe enter for a chance to win some giveaways!

This week has more bloggers participating in the My Happy Place Rowalong. I meant to post more last week, but didn't. I've been back in the school already this year and now trying to stay caught up here because there's lots coming!

Today's bloggers include:

Pumpkin Patch BC
Sew Incredibly Crazy
A Quilting Chick
Patchwork Breeze

Visit them soon as I'm pretty sure the giveaways are only open for a week!
You can also visit Marian's blog for the giveaways here.

And I found out there is a pinterest board where you can see some of the rows that have already been featured.

I'm looking forward to sharing my row in a couple of weeks' time, plus I'm busy getting a new project ready for QUILTsocial.com in October too. And I rediscovered my stash lately and have been cutting it up and playing with it too.

One quilt top that I haven't shared yet is my roosting Round Robin civil war top. I did get it finished in time to share at my guild meeting at the end of June. It's  a nice size wall hanging right now and with a bit more fabric could become a lap or twin quilt. Undecided on if I want to keep adding to it or not.

Remember this one was a challenge using two, one metre yards of fabric and the rest 2 1/2 inch strips. I think adding a wide border and possibly some applique would really add to it.

Hope you are finding time in the busyness of September to quilt!

With Joy,

Sarah V.
