Blog Writing Challenge to end the Year
>> Wednesday, December 1, 2021
I haven't been paying as much attention to the writing side of my quilting but all of that is about to change!
Maybe you need some inspiration and enjoyable blog posts to get you through this final month of the year. Well, Cheryl of Muppin.com is putting on the annual 31 Day Blog Writing Challenge and I couldn't resist.
I started my blog waaaay back in 2009 to share my quilting adventures. I really wanted to share how I think about and mix colorful fabrics to make quilts. But I never really did that!
Instead I did what everyone else was doing and had a lot of fun joining and hosting blog hops, sharing design walls, and making quilted gifts. But the whole time I was also designing my own quilts and figuring out the color combinations that made my quilts uniquely mine.
I'm looking forward to sharing a bit about my current quilting journey over the next month. I will probably be following the prompts provided because - it's easier! (I'm also teaching online, finishing a specialist course, creating content, shopping for Christmas, and doing all the other things that we do in life!)
If you want to check out my quilting story - or why I started quilting - you can find it here.
I have some tutorials available too and you can also find the patterns that I have designed that are for sale too.
Be sure to check out the other quilting bloggers - maybe you want to join the challenge too!
With Joy,
Sarah V.
