Welcome! I'm glad you arrived here today!

I'm Sarah Vanderburgh, the creative director, maker, producer, and
dreamer behind Sew Joy Creations.

 I design quilting patterns created with simple techniques and no specialty tools.
I use bright colours, photo filled instructions and story to inspire quilters of all abilities to embrace the joy of creating with fabric.

I enjoy being a mom to two children and a wife to my 

husband (a teacher by trade, an artist by heart.)

I'm also an Elementary School Teacher - occassionally anyway!

 I'm new to a plant based, whole food way of life and

 enjoying finding new things to make and eat!

{my WHOLE food pinterest board ;) }

I love to read, take photos and write poetry. One of my favourite places is 

Providence Bay - another is my back deck!

I'm working hard at being a Joyful Girl.
