Sew Joy: Week 4 of Sew Much Fun Tour

Welcome to Week 4 of the Sew Much Fun Tour!

Each week a designer will be presenting a 6" (6 1/2" unfinished) block on the theme of sewing.

My thimble is yellow! I have this plastic yellow thimble in my sewing box and I don't really know why. I must have inherited it.

It's pretty cute. I'm thinking I will stitch straight lines down my thimble to secure the applique dots instead of stitching around them.

I was able to try again and successfully piece Block 2 which is paper pieced. I'm happy so far that I can use my scraps to make these blocks my own - what a great sew along should inspire!

The blocks will be free for the duration of the tour - 52 weeks - so you have time. BUT, if you see one you like, get it! Designers may ask you to sign up to a newsletter to receive their block. I encourage you to ~visit~ the blogs and check out the designers' work. While blocks are free, designers do put in time and it's great to receive feedback ;)
