Wonky Crosses
This is the block I made for Marianne. May is her month in the Sew Modern Bee. I used the tutorial from Oh Fransson! (and a little liberated cutting) to make my 16 1/2 inch block.
I had enough fabric leftover to play with and make this block. It’s bigger – 18 1/2 inches. Bigger than Marianne requested. I added the borders because it ended up shy by a quarter of an inch. Marianne is going to use it on the back of her quilt.
Plus, I ended up with enough strips to make my weekly string block out of Bee material. I hope to be able to do this each month. This block is 8 1/2 inches square.
